A REWARDING EXPERIENCE

Volunteer at the Museum!

Simply put, the efforts of our many volunteers are the lifeblood of our museum. The Board and staff are truly grateful for these wonderful and dedicated individuals who greet the visiting public, work behind the scenes, and maintain the museum’s fleet of fully-operational WWII vehicles. The minimum age to volunteer at the museum is 16. If under 18, volunteers must submit the written consent of a parent or guardian. All Maintenance volunteers must be 18 or older, and hold a valid driver’s license to volunteer.

Volunteer Benefits
Volunteers receive free admission to the museum and a 20% discount in the gift shop, as well as free admission to events and programs sponsored by the museum.

In recognition of their dedication and the invaluable service they provide during the year, volunteers who have served over 20 hours in a season, and their spouse/guest are invited to an annual appreciation event, held each autumn.
