Help Build Our Collection

The Wright Museum collects authentic objects originating from the 1939-1945 war era that help us tell the story of Americans during WWII. Our collections include: documents, correspondence, photographs, films, sound recordings, books, works of art, uniforms, insignia, weapons, household items, vehicles, and other objects.

If you would like to donate an item to the Museum, please first consider the following:

  • We cannot appraise objects.
  • We cannot accept ammunition into the Museum collections for the safety of our visitors and staff.
  • We cannot guarantee the continuous display of any of our collections objects, however, our collections are made accessible to researchers and students.
  • Objects in our collections are sometimes lent to other educational institutions for exhibitions.
  • If your object is not accepted into the Museum’s permanent collection, it might be added to the education collection or our research library.

Thank you for your interest in donating to the Wright Museum collections. We look forward to hearing from you!
